Beyonce’s cousin, Angelica Knowles, has told the media that Beyonce Knowles plans to retire after releasing her next album and become a talent scout for her husband Jay-Z’s new Carter Music Group label.
After departing from Def Jam, Jay-Z reportedly is setting up his own label The Carter Music Group under his deal with Live Nation and Beyonce is slated to be one of the heads there. Beyonce’s first protege is rumored to be an R&B artist named Chelsea Thomas.
Beyonce is currently working on her third studio album and has hired dance-house-electronica production duo Freemasons to pen several songs for her. Her album is expected to be released by the end of this year.
