International pop sensation Madonna has reportedly been traveling with a luggage containing hundreds of towels.
Madonna’s ‘Sticky and Sweet’ tour ran into minor trouble again recently when the pop diva landed in Montenegro for her concert in the capital Budva. When she arrived at the airport, the custom people were reportedly shocked to see the number of towels she was carrying.
The ‘Like a Virgin’ star was carrying 300 designer towels for her personal use and for use by the crew off stage. The officials from Montenegro, however, didn’t buy the argument and confiscated the towels. Since Montenegro is a cold country, people there don’t require so many towels.
Now, at the Budva city concert on September 25, Madonna and her crew would have to make do with fewer towels to soak their sweat off.
Earlier, the tour ran into trouble when some of the crewmembers complained of being put up in cheap hotels while Madonna herself enjoyed the luxury of elite hotels. And now, the same crew might find themselves sharing towels because a good number of them have been confiscated.Seems like the ‘Sticky and Sweet’ tour can certain use some towels.
