Jessica Alba has said she doesn’t want daughter Honor Marie Warren following in her footsteps as a child actress.
Jessica began acting at the age of 12 and starred in television commercials and low-budget films before settling into minor TV roles in her mid-teenage years and later Hollywood.
But she told OK magazine recently that she wants her newborn daughter Honor to concentrate on her education first: “When she finishes college, she can do whatever she wants.
“[An eductaion]’s is only going to benefit her in whatever she wants to do.”
But she concedes she knows it’ll be hard to keep Honor from chasing the limelight: “I think at some point all little kids express the desire [to be famous], because they’re so used to being treated like a star.”
